FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1)  Who can attend?

Any person who attended, graduated from, worked at, currently works at, or is the guest of one of the aforementioned groups is welcome to attend.

2)  How much will the Reunion cost?

The cost of the weekend depends on which events you would like to participate in.  For details of all the events, simply go to the Events page. The costs are as follows:

    Alumnus Registration Fee - $20 before April 1st; $25 after April 1st

    Guest Registration Fee - $20 before April 1st; $25 after April 1st

    Friday Pub Night – drink tickets purchased at the event

    Decades Displays, Banting Art Show, School Tours – free

    Saturday Breakfast for Former and Current Staff - $15/person

    Saturday Golf Tournament - $25/person

    Saturday Sports Events – free

    Saturday afternoon Pub with Open Mic Performances – drink tickets purchased at the event

    Food Trucks – food can be purchased on site

    Musical Memories Performances & Wall of Fame Inductions – free

Bus ride to downtown bars for the after-parties – free

3)   Where do our registration fees go?

Your fees pay for:  lanyards & nametags for all guests, the tent rental, Reunion website, DJ, insurance & permits, security, advertising, and other incidentals.  Net proceeds from the reunion will be deposited into the Banting Legacy Fund for current and future Banting students.

4)   How do I find out who else is attending?

You can search who is attending according to Last Name or Graduating Year, by clicking here

5) Why can’t I see my name listed on the Attendees page even though I have registered on-line?

Only those who register on-line and pay with PayPal are instantly listed on the "Attendees" page.  If you registered on-line but did not complete the payment process or have chosen to print out the registration form and pay via regular mail, then you will have to wait until your payment has been confirmed before your name will be manually added to the list of "Attendees".

6)  What food trucks are going to be there?

We will have food trucks here on Friday night from 5 PM – 1 AM and on Saturday from 12 – 5 PM.  We are excited to provide you with food options from Bifana Boys, Donut Diva, Rosie’s Streetery, and Goodah Gastrotruck.

7)  Can I only buy Spiritwear when I register?

Spiritwear can be purchased on-line at any time up to Friday, April 26th.  Just go to the Spiritwear page to find the link to Positive Identity’s Banting Reunion e-store.  Your order will be available for pickup at the Registration table the weekend of the Reunion.

Note: There will be a limited selection of items available to purchase on site the weekend of the Reunion.

8)  What if I selected Instrumental Music Rehearsal when I registered, but I don’t have an instrument?

Make sure you email Nigel Evans at Nigel.Evans@tvdsb.ca to indicate what instrument you play and if you will be needing one of our instruments.
